Synopsis

Poetry. Kevin Craft's poetry has appeared in Poetry, VERSE, 9th Letter, AGNI, and Poetry Daily. A recipient of fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the Bogliasco Foundation, the Camargo Foundation, and the Artist Trust of Washing State, he teaches English and writing at Everett Community College and for the University of Washington's Summer in Rome Seminar. Poet Stanley Plumly says about Kevin's poetry, "The intelligence, the imagination, the quick humor...all point in the same direction: toward the poem as a made thing, a thing of light, crafted, the way craft, through its various arts, transforms the generalities into the specifics of magic...There is a wealth of information here, but changed, at every turn, into different riches."
