About the Author

Yvonne Conte is founder and "Director of Fun" at Crack-A-Smile Humor Project. She is a highly sought after professional speaker, trainer, and the creator of Crack-A-Smile's six corporate workshops. She recently developed the Silly Solutions progam designed exclusively for America's school systems.

As a writer and stand up comedian, Yvonne entertained audiences nationally for seven years. She appeared as a guest on ABC TV's Vicki Lawrence and Caryl and Marilyn Shows. She appears on NBC's Syracuse affiliate WSTM's Noon News with Laura Hand as a Humor Consultant.

She was the national spokesperson for The Travelers Channel and has appeared on numerous television commercials.

Serious Laughter is a direct result of the research collected in the process of putting together the Positive Power of Humor Workshops. She has traveled to over twenty different cities in eight states and two countries and held over 200 workshops since she began in July of 1996. Her highly acclaimed Humor Workshops have attracted people from all walks of life.
