Robert Simmons lives in San Diego, California. Married and father of five sons, he recently retired as a Professor of Law at the University of San Diego, where he taught since 1972. A former judge, prosecutor, and civil litigating attorney (emphasizing environmental and public interest law), he is the author of four published books in law and has authored numerous articles on legal and non-legal topics.
