About the Author:
Jim Williams is a life-long traveler. After more than ten years on the road around the world he is now based in New York City where he operates two hostels. A native of Tennessee he originally studied ecology and animal behavior at UT and Clemson. Then after a year of post-grad work at the University of Tasmania, he developed a severe travel bug and never looked back. Favorite places to travel: India and Brasil. He has published The Hostel Handbook for six years.
