Synopsis
Keeping It Simple describes a step-by-step program to help people whose lives are over-stressed, over-burdened and over-complicated start to simplify their lives. Particularly it focuses on four major areas of life: Possessions, Thoughts, Relationships and Spirituality. It is written in an entertaining style of twenty-one sessions between a therapist and a patient. There are touching moments, humor and strong therapeutic material that bring the reader right into a psychotherapy session. It reads like a short novel, with each chapter ending with exercises to solidify the principles being taught. Keeping It Simple has been utilized by people from all walks of life, but has especially has been endorsed by law enforcement officers and federal agents as a program that can help them meet the high stress demands of their jobs.

About the Author
Dr. Gary Aumiller has written over 70 articles and appeared on over 60 TV and radio shows as a psychologist and is a regular consultant to numerous national media. He is a regular lecturer at the FBI National Academy, a consultant to the FBI Behavior Sciences Unit, Employee Assistance Program, and Peer Support Program. He has spoken for over 400 corporations, colleges, medical schools, and police departments in the United States and in Europe. He has also consulted on three full feature movies with major movie companies and on a number of TV shows. Outside the field of psychology, Dr. Aumiller has performed leading roles in three city opera companies, worked as a lead actor with a national touring company and even played the role of a serial killer in a Columbia pictures movie. He recently sold his second book to Plume called "Red Flags!! How to Know When You are Dating a Loser", which teaches criminal profiling techniques so women can decide if they are dating a loser by the third date.
