A collection of southern short stories. Characters and plots are set in motion in small ficititious southern towns -- mostly in Arkansas -- with fate or circumstance intervening. Sit in the barber chair, attend a high school reunion, escape a bad marriage, solve a family problem, and savor the dialect and flavor of times gone by.
