Q. How does the system work?
A. The Dewey Color System: Embrace Hue You Are uses color preferences to show how each person prioritizes their life. It is based on the concept that color can be used to reveal personality traits. It asks the reader to choose his or her preferred colors from a simple chart. Once that’s done, their color choices are used to help them define their personality, providing insight into how they relate to others and the world around them.
Q. How do you use the Dewey Color System™?
A. Once the color choices are identified, the Dewey Color System™ can be used as a practical lifestyle tool. It can serve as a guide to understanding relationships with family, friends and co-workers, as well as a helpful device when shopping or to enhance home-design efforts. The reader learns how to enhance themselves and their surroundings by staying true to their colors.
Q. Why color?
A. Color is nature’s indicator. Life today is richer because color was used to signal chemical reactions in science and medicine. The Dewey Color System™ takes color beyond these familiar established practices. By focusing on a person’s preferences for precise shades of color, this revolutionary system indicates who a person is and how they relate to others, make decisions, solve problems and approach their lives.
For more than twenty-five years, Mr. Sadka was the founder and CEO of one of the most successful employment services company in the United States, with 2,500 employees and $38 million in billings. His intuitive people skills and unique motivational tools helped thousands of employees identify enriching career opportunities.
In 1994, he sold his business and spent the next seven years developing the Dewey Color System, which he based on the results of a scientific research study consisting of more than 5,000 interviews with people from all walks of life. The link between human motivation, emotions and color became a simple key to better understanding individual desires, concerns, passions and different perspectives.
The Dewey Color System is the first to recognize the connection between personality and the four distinct color categories: primary, secondary, achromatic and intermediate colors. It incorporates employee evaluation systems, once only available to the professional community and makes it easy, fast fun and accessible to everyone.
Mr. Sadka grew up in Meridian, Mississippi and is now based out of Atlanta, where in 1992, he was included in the Who s Who by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He has been featured in Time magazine, The Wall Street Journal, on NBC Nightly News. His company was a recipient of Inc. Magazine's list of America's fastest growing private companies and was a recipient of the Atlanta Advertising Club s Abby Award and nominated for the Best TV Commercial.
