I have found in talking with parents who attend the workshops I have taught that they truly want to help their kids grow spiritually. But in the busy schedules of many people, most of the spiritual teaching is left to the church. While church attendance is important (and stressed in the book), the primary responsibility for spiritual growth rests with parents.
