About the Author

Alan McPherson is a naturalist, author and outdoor enthusiast. He is the author of nature Hikes in Northern Indiana, Nature Hikes in Southern Indiana, Indiana Best Hikes and several natural history books. Alan spends most of his time traveling the Hoosier state doing research, lecturing and enjoying the great Indiana outdoors.
