The Clinton-Gore Administration has left many citizens deeply distrustful of public officials. But "Gentleman of the Senate" shows that most men and women in government are honorable. Notable among them is Orrin Hatch, a giant in the U.S. Senate. In an era when character counts more than ever, the independent-minded Utahn is a model of courage, compassion, and integrity. "Gentleman" builds on Lee Roderick's critically acclaimed biography "Leading the Charge: Orrin Hatch and 20 Years of America." It shows how Senator Hatch has used his clout to help keep our country strong and free, improve the lives of millions of citizens, and curb the worst excesses of Clinton-Gore.
