Peter Brandt is a professional trader and earns almost all of his income from trading. An early exercise in putting his trading ideas in writing grew into The Factor newsletter.
The Factor was almost unique among market letters in describing the thought processes and market activity of a professional trader actually trading the markets. Brandt's written trading plan, which he shared with subscribers, required that every trade be based upon a recognizable pattern from Edwards and Magee's classic book, "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends." Over the years, The Factor was one of the most educational and readable letters published.
