A compelling story of friendship, love and loss, For Molly is contemporary fiction with southern flair, centered around the book's heroine, Ashley Stewart: a typical small-town girl, feisty, strong and independent, secure in the love of her family, and surrounded by a close-knit circle of lifelong friends. When a speeding truck erases the only truth she's ever known, Ashley flees her hometown, denying her past, ultimately meeting up with the one man who holds the key to her destiny.

For Molly is a wonderful first novel by author Vicki L. Allen. The story follows the teen and early adult years of the book's heroine, Ashley Stewart, as she discovers the joys and sorrows of life and the consequences of the paths we choose. For Molly is brilliantly written, bringing the reader into the life of Ashley Stewart, and bringing tears to your eyes through both laughter and sorrow.
Vicki Allen spent most of her childhood in Central Louisiana before relocating to Oklahoma City where she lived for 19 years before returning to her beloved Louisiana. Her other works include The Search for Shannon, a fiction finalist for the Oklahoma Book Award, and The Return, the fan-driven sequel to For Molly. She is currently working on the third book in the "Molly Series", The Other Brother, and has started a fourth and fifth in the same series as well as another stand-alone novel.
