About the Author
Richard Thorud is a retired research and development engineer, but he has also been an author and an artist for most of his life. The first of his many published books, The Remarkable Saga of Ole and Lena, has been a popular hit with Scandinavian-Americans ever since its initial printing. Now, in his latest book, Mr. Thorud has written and compiled an ample selection of Ole and Lena jokes, suitable for every occasion. Jokes are chronological, covering birth, the childhood years, the school years, the courting years, the married years, old age, and a visit to St. Peter's gate.
