James Cramer is the founder and chairman of Greenway Consulting and adjunct professor of architecture at the University of Hawaii. He researches, consults, and gives seminars for leading professional firms around the world. He is also the author of 135 articles and several books, including the critically acclaimed Design + Enterprise, Seeking a New Reality in Architecture and co-author of the How Firms Succeed, A Field Guide to Management Solutions. He also serves as co-chair of the Washington D.C.-based think-tank, the Design Futures Council. Cramer is the former chief executive of The American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C., and the former president of the American Architectural Foundation.
Jennifer Evans Yankopolus is the co-editor of the Almanac of Architecture & Design and an architectural historian. She is also the editor of the Archidek series of collectable, educational architecture trading cards and an editor for the Östberg press where she helps projects to achieve the imprint’s goal of promoting design excellence. She has a master’s degree in architecture history from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She also studied at Drake University, where she received her B.S. in business administration and earned a master’s degree in heritage preservation from Georgia State University.
