From the Author
We are both professionals in fields other than music: teacher and architect/writer, who engage in music making for fun, personal fulfillment, and the satisfaction of creating something of beauty with others. Jerry started out on piano and has added several other instruments over the years. Lucie began on flute, put it aside after high school, and took up trombone at the age of 45. The enthusiasm we have encountered among amateurs we play with inspired us to encourage the many adults who have yet to discover this life-enriching pursuit.
