Synopsis
From the lead singer and songwriter of Detroit's "organic power pop" band, "Eden's Journal," comes a collection of writing that introduces an inspired new voice capable of creating lush and lyrical poetry and prose. Rudolph's writing seems to come from some elevated place where themes of grandeur are tamed and gently explored with a graceful command of language that is both moving and musical.
In addition to poetry and prose, this stirring collection also includes previously unpublished lyrics to Eden's Journal songs, two short plays that give readers a glimpse into Rudolph's theatrical background, and a foreword by the author that explains his gut-wrenching decision to leave his position with Newsweek magazine to explore, "the road less traveled."

About the Author
Kenny Rudolph is the lead singer/songwriter of Detroit's "organic power-pop" band, Eden's Journal. He has written a dozen plays which have been produced in Los Angeles, New York and cities in between. He is currently completing a screenplay based in the town of his birth, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Educated at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in Pasadena, California, he spent seven years in the publishing and advertising business with Sport and Newsweek magazines. He currently lives in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
