About the Author
Ilyas Halil, born in Adana grew up in Mersin, Turkey, emigrated to Canada in 1960 with his wife and four daughters, wrote poetry and short stories as he plied his profession as an investment banker in Abu Dhabi. Has had five collections of poetry published and nine books of short stories in Turkey, Greece, Canada and the United States.
