He has published more than sixteen collections of verse, including Mirrors in the Time of War (1994), Hewn Stones (1995), Postcards for Darja (1997), Spleen of Berlin (1999). In 1997, he was awarded the Slovenian National Poetry Book Award for Postcards for Darja. Osojnik is the director of the International Vilenica Poetry Festival.
