Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Illustrated by Sugino, Shin; Noguchi, Vince (illustrator). First Edition. Signed and inscribed by the principals of Rice Brydone Limited, Eleanor Brydone and Peter Rice, upon front free endpaper. Includes four-page Foreword by Margaret Atwood entitled 'Living in Space'. "Tracing the principles and processes of interior design, this book provides a portrait of the field as seen from the perspective of a leading North American design firm. Rice Brydone presents the current concerns of interior design for the urban corporate market, including new directions that take economics and ergonomics into account as much as corporate identity and aesthetics. The book's descriptive examples and photographic content are taken from Rice Brydone's archive which documents the firm's extensive portfolio of experience - from work in office towers to renovations of historic buildings. Projects are highlighted within the context of the design process itself and the overall scope of interior design." - dust jacket. 103 glossy pages lavishly bound in sandstone cloth and profusely illustrated with colour photography. Negligible wear to book. Sunning to the moderately-worn dust jacket which is now preserved in archival-grade Brodart. ; Photographs; 4to; Signed by Author. Seller Inventory # 247j0239
