About the Author

Tom Lodge was the deejay and program director of this adventure of Radio Caroline. He faced ocean storms, government attacks and the adulation of fans. Tom Lodge went from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in the North West Territories of Canada, to a ship broadcasting rock 'n' roll off the coast of Great Britain. He has experienced being lost for dead on an ice flow on Great Slave Lake, to being swarmed by teen-age fans in London, England. Born in England, brought up in Virginia, U.S.A., he has lived in India, Costa Rica and Canada, and has always been willing to explore the extremes of life.
