About the Author

JoAnn "Jody" Bunting was born in Nebraska where she spent her childhood on a farm raising horses, pigs and all sorts of other animals. She still loves animals and was an active member of the Bay Area Therapy Pets for seven years; taking her dog, Lady, to do tricks at schools, abused children's homes, hospitals and senior retirement facilities. In her spare time she enjoys taking long hikes and reading good books. She has two grown children and currently lives in Pleasant Hill, CA with her husband, Ivor and of course, Lady.
