About the Author

Lisa M. Ellram, Ph.D., C.P.M., CPA, is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University. Dr. Ellram is a widely published researcher and international speaker in the areas of buyer-supplier relationships, supply chain management, cost management, and spirituality in business.

Thomas Y. Choi is an Associate Professor at Arizona State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and his A.B. degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He teaches in the areas of operations and supply chain management, and has also worked with several domestic and international firms doing research consulting.
