About the Author

George Ann Gregory has a Ph.D in Applied Linguistics. She is a lifelong educator who has developed language and literacy with ages preschool through adults.

She has worked with a variety of ethnic and linguistic groups, including Amerindian, Southeast Asian, Latin American, Middle-Eastern, European, African American, Hispanic American, and Anglo American.

Her research includes grammatical analysis of compositions and teaching methods that work. Her publications include research articles, essays, short stories, poetry, and children's stories and text.
