About the Author:

Born in Lockerbie, Scotland, world-traveler Jim Glendinning arrived in west Texas in 1992, and opened a Bed & Breakfast. His background in tourism and writing lead him to write "From Big Bend to Carlsbad" (A & M University Press, 1995, now sold out. Next Glendinning turned his attention to the immediate cross-border area of Northern Mexico and wrote "Mexico - Unofficial Border Crossings from Big Bend - and Copper Canyon" (The Alpine Company, 2000).
