If you love helping children make sense of math, this fresh, unique approach is just what you're looking for.
Math Facts to the Max! supports mastery of the basic number facts by integrating songs, flash cards, and hands-on activities into a dynamic, child-friendly system for learning key strategies and patterns. This high-quality program gets results because it sparks interest as it fosters understanding.
The flexible system is appropriate for classroom, home, and tutorial use. It covers all levels of basic facts for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Math Facts to the Max! is based on extensive research into the best practices for teaching basic math skills. It is highly effective because it provides (1) Step-by-step flash card practice for each type of fact, (2) Songs which help children memorize key strategies, (3) Visual cues and hands-on experiences which link to the flash cards and songs, (4) Review activities that reinforce and maintain skills, (5) Tests for tracking student progress.
The book includes:
- Masters for two-sided flash cards
- A CD with 25 unforgettable songs and hilarious "Igor and Boss" vignettes
- A teacher- and parent-friendly guide
Math Facts to the Max! engages and motivates students through their natural affinity for music and humor. Like the other titles of the Teaching Lynx Series, its goal is to link mathematics with activities that children love.
