About the Author

anne joffe has been involved with shells artistically, scientifically and commercially for over 25 years. She has traveled the world collecting and buying shells and shellcrafts. Anne has been the recipient of many awards and blue ribbons for her artistic and scientific displays, and is a well known and qualified Shell Show Judge of both the Artistic and Scientific categories. She has been the General, Artistic, and Scientific chairperson for many years at the Sanibel-Captiva Shell Show, the largest shell event in the nation held annually the first weekend of March. For the past 15 years, she has been writing a weekly shellcraft column for a local publication, as well as several articles for published Shell Guides. Anne and her husband own and operate She Sells Sea Shells, two shell shops on Sanibel Island, Florida
