Synopsis

About the Author
Elizabeth Silance Ballard's short stories and articles have been published since 1975 in many magazines and anthologies.
Her story, "Three Letters from Teddy," has been included in the course packs of several universities in the schools of education and was selected by Marian Wright Edelman for inclusion in the 1994 Annual Report of the Children's Defense Fund. Congressman Dan Burton also obtained rights to distribute the piece to educators in his state.
Ms Ballard is a wife, mother, and grandmother of three, and a full-time worker with the Department of Social Services. She has B.S. in Human Services Counseling and has done extensive graduate work in that field. She enjoys traveling at home and abroad and is an avid reader as well as a freelance writer.
