About the Author:
Jurek Wajdowicz, co-founder and Creative Director of Emerson, Wajdowicz Studios began his career as a graphic artist in Lodz, Poland, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Master's degree in graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design. After working for various prestigious design firms in Europe and New York, Wajdowicz joined Matt Emerson in 1982 and formed New York's Emerson, Wajdowicz Studios. An internationally recognized design artist and a leader in the photojournalistic approach to graphic design, Jurek Wajdowicz and his design partner Lisa LaRochelle have won over 400 design awards and have earned top recognition from virtually every major professional design arts organization in the world.
