I wanted to thank you so much for writing these books. I'm studying abroad, halfway across the world from my family, and as a result, I get homesick. My mom and I have been incredibly close, and being away from her for almost a year has been pretty hard. She sent me "Eat Your Peas for my Daughter" and I read it anytime I get homesick. In the book, she added her own personal touch, writing that "This little book is amazing all on its own, but I added to it to make it more personal. I mean every single word. The author captured everything I wanted to say to you, I just enhanced it!' I've found this book to be such an anchor to home, especially with all my mom's handwritten notes in it. --A young adult who finds love in this book every time she opens it.

My mom gave me your book, Eat Your Peas for my Daughter, and I read it so many times I have it memorized. Well, this February my mom unexpectedly passed away. I've had some pretty dark days this year and need you to know that your book has helped me through. On the says that I'm really missing her a lot, I read the book. Eat Your Peas for my Daughter affected me in so many ways. Before I read this book from my mom, I thought she didn't really pay attention to me, because of my younger sister. She's 6, has PDD and my mom had to help with with a LOT of things. I'm ten and I thought I was in the shadows because I am older. After I read the book I knew my mom would always be there for me.
