About the Author
The Pike Place Market Foundation was the organizer of Pigs on Parade and the beneficiary of its proceeds. Pigs on Parade raised funds to provide groceries, hot meals, medical care and child care for the nearly 10,000 low-income and senior residents of downtown Seattle who rely on the Market's Clinic, Senior Center, Food Bank and Child Care & Preschool.
