Co-authors Jeanne Lazo and Carol J. Amato bring over 25 years each of research, technical, and business writing experience to Persistence is Power! Both have master s degrees. Carol J. Amato, a professional writer, has authored 17 books. Jeanne Lazo was employed as a technologist, manager, consultant, and trainer by Fortune 500 companies for more than 23 years, when her career was interrupted by a disability. She experienced first-hand the difficulties in dealing with Social Security and employer-sponsored disability insurance. Her own case has been appealed as high as the U. S. Federal Court, and in the process, she gained a wealth of insider knowledge.
