About the Author

Mike Riccetti has authored, now, three editions of Houston Dining on the Cheap. He grew up in Houston, and has degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and Cornell University. He is a regular contributor to My Table and an irregular contributor to other local and national publications, often concerning Houston-area restaurants. This has included work as the Houston editor for Where the Locals Eat and Zagat. He is also the co-author of The Guide to Ridiculously Easy Entertaining - Tips from Marfreless published in 2005. He currently lives, works, and dines cheaply and sometimes not-so-cheaply in Houston.
