Thirteen top level English and Western horsewomen tell the stories and share photographs of how they climbed to prominence as professionals in the equestrian world. Despite setbacks and obstacles such as Sally Swift's scoliosis or Kathy Kusner's difficulties getting a jockey's license as the 1st female jockey, they used their own perseverance and passion for horsemanship to follow their own hearts. The women talk not only about the joys and opportunities, but the disappointments and frustrations going on in their lives within and outside of the horse world.
