About the Author

Patti Maguire Armstrong is the mother of eight children. She has a B.S. in Social Work from Michigan State University and a Master's in Public Administration from Portland State University. Patti and her husband Mark met in the Peace Corps in the Marshall Islands, Micronesia.

Although Patti has worked at a variety of jobs, she has done free lance writing for over twenty years, publishing over 400 magazine and newspaper articles for both secular and religious publications. Currently, her main pursuits are caring for her family and home schooling.
