JAIMIE HALL BRUZENAK is an RV lifestyle and Workamping expert, writing and speaking about RV lifestyle topics and working on the road. She has been on the road in an RV, full- and part-time, since 1992. She loves to share the possibilities found in the RV lifestyle and help others achieve their RV dreams. She has been interviewed on radio,TV, online and in print.
Needing to earn an income, Jaimie and her late husband, Bill, worked in a number of national parks, volunteered, did temporary work, sold Christmas trees and worked in tourist businesses. Her book, Support Your RV Lifestyle! An Insider's Guide to Working on the Road, was the result of those experiences and is considered by many to be the bible of Workamping.
Jaimie writes for and teaches classes on the Web for Workamper News plus writes for other RV websites and publications. With Alice, she co-authored three other books on RVing: RV Traveling Tales: Women s Journeys on the Open Road, The Woman s Guide to Solo RVing, and Taking the Mystery Out of RV Writing. She produces a bimonthly newsletter RV Lifestyle Ezine and blogs regularly at RV Home Yet?
Jaimie traveled solo after Bill passed away. She now travels with George, her husband. Her website, RV Lifestyle Experts, is full of resources for RVers.
ALICE ZYETZ passed away May, 2012 before seeing this book in print. She had been on the road since 1994 and was an RV lifestyle expert who wrote and spoke about a variety of RV topics, specializing in women travelers, Boomers ready to retire, and handicapped travelers. She authored two books: You Shoulda Listened to Your Mother, based on her pre-RV experience as a business consultant, and Taking the Mystery Out Of Retiring to an RV, a compact, resource- filled introduction to RV retirement.
Prior to this book, Alice, with Jaimie, co-authored several books on RVing: RV Traveling Tales: Women s Journeys on the Open Road, The Woman s Guide to Solo RVing, and Taking the Mystery Out of RV Writing.
For several years Alice contributed to Jaimie s website, RV Lifestyle Experts, and the accompanying twice-monthly electronic newsletter, RV Lifestyle Ezine, showcasing their RV books and providing information to those interested in the RV lifestyle. With Jaimie, Alice founded the RV Authors Co-operative.
Alice wrote many articles and blog entries about the RV lifestyle and was interviewed a number of times on radio, cable TV, and in print. She was a seminar leader at RV conventions. Alice traveled alone and with her late husband. She loved the lifestyle and the people she met along the way. Alice was compelled to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with the rest of the world.
