Synopsis
This stress reduction book outlines the "cause and effect" relationship of stress, guiding individuals in discovering that stress is an internal reaction to outside stimulus. It offers practical advice for redirecting thoughts towards the stimulus rather than focusing on changing circumstances over which they may have little, if any, control. Once the reader acknowledges that stress is internally generated, he or she can begin eliminating it by learning practical methods of dealing with emotional responses to situations that trigger stressful feelings. These include the use of writing, humor, compassion, family relationships, physical activity, and mindfulness. Finally, upon elimination of these negative emotions, the book delves into the nature of creative problem solving skills and how participants can easily learn to tap into these at any time.

About the Author
Kent Rader is a professional speaker and author who champions the belief that developing happier, healthier employees can lead to success for any organization.
