Why Would You Want To Do That? How many times have you asked a child that question? BULLYING is the first workbook in the Why Would You Want To Do That? series designed to facilitate discussions, primarily with third, fourth and fifth graders, regarding a wide variety of social situations that children deal with daily. By presenting different situations with contemporary, edgy illustrations in vibrant colors, the children may recognize themselves or their friends and feel comfortable to relate their own personal experiences. By making this a personal workbook in a convenient twenty-four page 8 X 8 format , we hope to also enhance the communication between children and their parents or guardians.

About the Author
Why Would You Want To Do That? How many times have you asked a child that question? That question prompted a collaboration between Sidney Goodman, an entrepreneur with an interest in social issues, Billy Attinger, an Internationally successful illustrator with a keen sense of what motivates kids, and Sidney's long time friend, an internationally recognized kindergarten teacher. After letting the idea germinate for a decade or more, Sidney pulled together this all-star team to create the Why Would You Want To Do That? workbook series designed to facilitate discussions, primarily with third or fourth graders, regarding a wide variety of social situations that children deal with daily. BULLYING is the first release in this series.

Sid Goodman s Bullying, Why Would You Want To Do That is an excellent book to use in classroom guidance lessons with 3rd and 4th grade students. The chapter topics provide a foundation for students to discuss situations that are real to them, allowing students to come up with the solutions rather than lecturing them about what not to do.
