About the Author

Martha G. Edmonds Ms. Edmonds is a Senior Education Specialist for the Professional Development Program of Rockefeller College. Ms. Edmonds is a Harvard Trained Community Builder. She studied Community and Economic Development at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Community Builder program. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design Technology from the University at Albany in New York. Martha was a Community Builder with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She was responsible for developing the faith-based initiative in upstate New York and used her time at HUD to research the needs of the faith-based community. She has written this book based upon working directly with grassroots faith-based programs and surveying their needs. This book provides in-depth, step-by-step directions on how to become an agent of change in your community. After leaving HUD, Ms. Edmonds opened MGE Consulting, a consulting firm that specializes in training Faith-Based groups in community and economic development.

Delores Edmonds-McIntosh Delores Edmonds-McIntosh has over 20 years of grassroots non-profit management. She is the developer of an award-winning, faith-based, nonprofit program. Delores has proven her mettle as a talented program developer and grant writer.
