About the Author

Lee S. Sobel is an Asssociate in the Investment Properties Group at CB Richard Ellis in Miami, Florida. Mr. Sobel is a Knight Fellow in Community Building at the University of Miami School of Architecture, focusing on new urbanist development and financing. He graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a BS in political science, and received a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He is a member of the Congress for the New Urbanism and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
