About the Author

Brenda Watson, C.T.
Author, Renew Your Life

Brenda Watson, C.T. (colon therapist) is among the foremost authorities in America on natural digestive support, detoxification and internal cleansing. She is a tireless crusader dedicated to the fields of healthy digestion and detoxification and to leading others onto the path of natural wellness.

The need for simplification of digestion and detoxification processes motivated Ms. Watson to write her first book, Renew Your Life (2000). The book focuses on how nutrition, digestion, absorption, bacterial balance and intestinal permeability all play independent functions in the health of the gastrointestinal tract and the whole body. Renew Your Life also delves into the topics of detoxifying the body and organ systems; improving the selection and digestion of foods; increasing energy levels; achieving mental clarity; and reaching and maintaining an ideal weight.

Ms. Watson founded Renew Life, Inc. in 1997 to formulate and distribute her own line of digestive care products. Today, as president of the International Association of Colon Therapists with well over 1,000 documented hours in C.T. training, Ms. Watson continues public speaking, teaching, researching and formulating new health products.

In 1996, Ms. Watson started the Renew Life School of Natural Therapies to teach medical professionals the process behind and benefits of colon hydrotherapy. This school is certifying natural medical practitioners and medical doctors from all over the world in colon hydrotherapy and detoxification. During her years of clinical work with a holistic medical doctor specializing in cancer, Ms. Watson organized and educated patients on the benefits of nutrition programs for general wellness.

From 1993 to 1995, Ms. Watson worked with a major supplement company as a consumer educator focusing on internal cleansing. During this time, she educated thousands of consumers and spoke frequently in person and on radio and television, promoting internal cleansing.

Ms. Watson has studied many philosophies of health and natural healing with some of the great teachers of our time. Dr. Bernard Jensen’s work gave the foundation in healing that propelled her to found five natural health clinics in Florida, which specialize in colon hydrotherapy and detoxification.

Ms. Watson has two grown children and lives in Dunedin, Florida with her husband.

What is more valuable to you than good health? Your family? Your faith in a higher power? A hefty bank balance? A good movie? A new car? Well, guess what? You can t enjoy any of them if you have poor health. If you are sick, exhausted, or in pain, you will simply not have the time or energy to enjoy all the things that life has to offer. You will spend all your time, money and energy trying to deal with your poor health, rather than creating a better life for yourself, your family, your community and maybe even the rest of us.

So, you may ask, "What can I do about my poor health?" Well, you can do a great deal. With very few exceptions, we do not suddenly wake up one day with poor health. I ll let you in on a secret: We create our own poor health. How do we do that? Well, we eat too much, drink too much, exercise too little and generally abuse our bodies during a long period of time. We live stressful lives in stressful cities that are full of too many people. We breathe toxic air, drink polluted water and generally pass bacteria and viruses around so often that it is amazing we survive at all. The fact that we do survive for decades in relatively good health is, in part, a testament to the strength of our digestive systems. That s right, I said our digestive systems. It is not natural to drink chlorinated water or homogenized milk; nor are we naturally designed to eat food that has been irradiated, filled with preservatives or coated with pesticides, but that s what we do every day. Through it all, our digestive systems function for years to break down foods and liquids into the few nutrients that are available. Our digestive systems don t stop there. They also help to filter and eliminate toxins, parasites, fungi, bacteria and viruses. It has long been known that health comes from the body s ability to digest nutrients and eliminate waste. The digestive system is responsible for assuring that you:

Digest foods completely
Eliminate wastes naturally

The more efficiently your body performs these functions, the healthier you are likely to be.

The information in "Renew Your Life" will empower you to make the best health choices and, quite literally, renew your life using cleansing techniques that are safe, effective and simple.
