About the Author

A rare father-daughter team, Ana Cortez and C.J. Freeman (author and illustrator) combine their talents to bring forth The Playing Card Oracles. Sharing a life-long fascination for prophecy and the divinatory arts, both have felt strongly guided in their work together. Ana currently lives in Santa Fe, NM where she continues to publish Oracle books and Cards in the unique tradition initiated by her and her father. 
CJ Freeman passed away in 2010. 
Their work can be found at anacortez.com and in Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe, NM.
