Synopsis
The Trouble With Bernie is a book about ten-year-old Bernie Jones who lives in the 1950s. We meet his best friend Alex; his dog Weezer; his sister Charmaine; the big boys and their Blazing Bandits Club as Bernie tries to stay out of trouble in and around his neighborhood.
The adventures are fun and heartfelt.
The illustrations by Katie Miller are an excellent compliment to the entertaining stories. All ages will thoroughly enjoy this paperback while the reading level is perfect for 3rd thru 7th grades.

About the Author
This is Sharon Bushell's first children's book. Bushell is an award winning author from Alaska. Her previous books are stories of Alaskan pioneers. She writes for the Anchorage Daily News and travels the country as an author-in-the-schools performing assemblies and workshops.
