A principal partner and vice president of research & development at Rane Corporation, Dennis earned BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to Rane Corporation, he worked as engineering manager for Phase Linear Corporation. Before that he was the audio application engineer at National Semiconductor Corporation where he created the Audio Handbook, acting as technical editor and contributing author.
Mr. Bohn is a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society and is listed in the first edition of Who's Who In Science and Engineering as well as Who's Who in America. He holds two patents, and has designed over 40 professional and consumer audio products and authored over 100 articles appearing in national and international magazines, including his many conference papers delivered and published by the Audio Engineering Society, and the entry on "Equalizers" for the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, 7th edition.
