About the Author
Pilar Tan, M.D., hails from the Philippines. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has been practicing as an internist for over thirty years in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She currently cares for four thousand patients ranging in age from ten to ninety-six.
Her poems have been published in newsletters and anthologies. She has given speeches on various topics, including happiness, maturity, stress, positive mental attitude, relationships and work.
