About the Author

Phillip Curtis McKee, III, had always considered stained glass as a hobby or side-job and firefighting as his primary vocation. However, after suffering disabling injuries at the Pentagon on September 11, he found that stained glass was the center of his life. He now focuses entirely on creating original and commissioned artwork in the Washington, DC, metro area and teaching. His work has been featured on television, in newspapers, magazines and even on the cover of the Delphi Glass Company Catalog. He has won several national competitions as well. His work has also been donated to several charities for auction as part of fundraisers. He attended both Yale and Harvard Universities and is an active member of his community as a local Elections Supervisor and President of the University Park Civic Association. This is his first book.
