Synopsis
She's a wife, a mother of two, a part-time writer, and until now, she's been living a secret life....Meet Lieutenant Colonel Christine Cook, battalion commander of a Michigan National Guard unit. In November 2003, she was alerted, then mobilized and deployed to the Kuwait Theater of Operations, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. About the Author
Christine Cook is a colonel in the US Army Reserve. She is a graduate of the US Army War College, and currently works as a research professor for the US Army War College's Strategic Studies Institute. She lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with her husband, two children, and Oscar the masked cat. She is currently working on the third mystery in the d'Arcy W. Carter mystery series. A sequel to LIVING ON TATTOOINE, called REDEPLOYMENT OF THE JEDI, is scheduled for publication by the US Army War College in Spring 2009.
