About the Author
Les Eldridge has retired from career endeavors as a college administrator, county commissioner, corporate executive, mediator, and administrative law hearings officer. With the late Frances Barkan and Drew Crooks, he was co-author of The Wilkes Expedition: Puget Sound and the Oregon Country, a history. The Chesapeake Command is his first novel.
