Bj rn Bergwald, Gymnasiallehrer, steht ebenfalls vor dem Scherbenhaufen einer langj hrigen Freundschaft mit einer jungen Frau, die ihn verlassen hat. Er ist tieftraurig und fassungslos und kann nicht begreifen, dass sie wortlos von ihm gegangen ist. Jennifer und Bj rn leben beide in Berlin, kennen einander jedoch nicht. Allerdings gibt es da noch Christine Koch, Referendarin an Bj rns Schule und seine Reisebegleiterin w hrend einer Sch leraustauschfahrt nach London.
