CHAPTER 1...
Why in the world would someone take up the voluntary task of writing another Linux book? Could it be sheer lunacy? Maybe it's the result of monitor radiation?
Well, not really. The reason I chose to write this book was to resolve a nagging issue many have when starting out with Linux. We all need somewhere to go for those basic answers and tips without having to sift through intimidating and expensive 600 page manuals. How often the basic information we need is answered disjointedly on a dozen or so pages across several such manuals.
Finally, I am compiling the book whose various chapters and tips helped me personally break into the Linux world with fun rather than frustration.
