Diana Scimone is author and creator of the Adventures With PawPaw series. She is a writer and journalist who has traveled to more than 40 countries. Her journalism work has appeared in dozens of publications including Travel & Leisure, South China Morning Post (Hong Kong), World, The Washington Post, Europe, INC, USA Today, Sky, and many others. She served as special correspondent for News Network International focusing on human rights abuses around the world. As a result of seeing the desperate plight of many of the world’s children, she founded PawPaw’s Pals, Inc., an international relief agency that helps children in disaster and crisis situations around the world. Diana was named to the premier edition of Who’s Who in the Media and Communications, and is listed in Who’s Who in America (2006), Who’s Who in Religion, and Who’s Who of American Women. Diana’s dog, Puccini (now in Doggie Heaven), served as the model for PawPaw. Leah Wiedemer is the illustrator of the Adventures With PawPaw book series. An accomplished visual artist, her paintings and murals enhance homes and public spaces across the United States and Europe. She enjoys working in a variety of media but always returns to her first love—watercolors.
